EAST AFRICAN SAFARIS
(PART TWO)
Following on from part one, this album covers a much wider selection of animals - essentially everything other than ‘big cats’. It starts with elephants - the predominant featured species - and then moves through the various ungulates before finishing off with some of the other predators, primarily hyaenas and jackals, and then a couple of reptiles at the end for a bit of added interest. As with the previous ‘big cats’ album, the associated comments appended to each photo are generally pretty brief as all the details about the species, including information about their classification, are provided under two comprehensive articles in the ’species’ section of the website
entitled “East African Safari Animals - Carnivores and Ungulates” which, if required, can be accessed directly from the links to open in another browser window so that the information can be referenced when viewing the photos.
The following thumbnails expand when clicked. You can then scroll through the images in either the 'standard view', or an alternative 'compact view' (via the info button) if you wish to see where the photo was taken and read about the encounter and/or the species.
Whilst my albums are optimised for viewing on a desktop monitor or larger laptop, there is an optional 'full screen' mode for tablets or notebooks. But, please note that if you do use this mode on a smaller device, the top and/or bottom of some photos may
be clipped, and if you leave your curser over the image the navigation overlay backgrounds may be visible.
